Anyone else think the recession is over?

My memory banks have been jogged. In the mid 90's the talking heads on TV were crying "Foreclosures at an all time high. The economy is horrible!"
Funny thing, my business was really beginning to boom.

Sound familiar? Here's my take.
Here what happened 10 years ago.
Manufacturing and product development lead the cycle. This is how money is really made. Then people buy stuff and houses. Then, hourly workers get lots of overtime pay...and get loans over their heads (40 hour basis).
The manufacturing job market was over in 1999.
Y2K propped up salaries...temporarily. (and didn't create anything, a dead end investment).

Today: same thing over again.
Housing and Lending both got greedy and thought there was no end in sight.
While the market settles out, manufacturing is getting stronger.
THERE ARE A LOT OF JOBS OUT THERE!

Whoever gets elected will look like an economic genius (barring WWIII etc.)
Clinton inherited a solid but not exciting economy. Bush Sr. said it would be okay, leave it alone (not much of a sound bite there!).

POLITICIANS - LISTEN UP!!!!
IF you believe in CAPITALISM...
LEAVE THE ECONOMY ALONE....LEAVE IT TO AMERICANS
Don't bail out yesterdays foolish mistakes...INVEST in todays growth...or just leave us alone better yet.

Enough Ranting...Back to headhunting and pastoring (I am a pastor too, Cowboy Church, when in Texas... www.narrowtrail.org )

Are you Hiring ? john at stepbeyond.com

IGI Consulting Announces New Report - "Is Google Going to Capture Telephony?"

"Telecom Business Transformation" is a big topic worldwide in these turbulent economic times. Many carriers and manufacturers are in the process of transformation projects. One of the outcomes of such projects must be a vision or plan for that company’s next-generation network. Information Gatekeepers Inc. NOTES - Photo Importing Instructions

This pertains to your personal photo, Group photos and Events photos.

The photo image will be compressed so that the smallest dimension is sized to 171 pixels and then the larger dimension will be cropped to the center of the photo. For your pictures to show up as you'd like, you'll need to make sure that the center of the photo is what you want to see, or add white space to the sides of your photos to make them square so when they are resized they will fit.

Please use a photo editing program to add white-space so that the photos are square and then import them, while also checking that the overall height or width is 171 pixels or less.

If you don't have a photo editing program, let us know and we'll see if we can get the photos resized for you.
